"Pain is weakness leaving your body."
Marine Corps

but it hurts so bad! i just have to keep chanting, "it will be worth it in the end, it will be worth it in the end..." i sure hope that's true.

your challenge: leave me a comment reassuring me that it WILL be worth it in the end, maybe include some personal experience, so i'll believe you. i think i could use some reassurance right about now.

oh nellie, you know as well as anyone from all of you classes now how important it is to be physically active and healthy. It is sooo hard to get going and hard to slim down, but just think of how much easier life will be when you are feeling more fit...RA will be less, you can play harder without wanting to die, you can do your job and do it well without needing assistance with some of the more physical aspects...the list goes on and on. keep it up! I am proud of you :)

Remember, thirty pounds equates to one extra inch! That's my motivation.

Sorry I'm late to the commenting...

I totally think it's worth it "in the end" but knowing that the end is really the rest of your life. I think when you are working with a lot of older people it helps you have more perspective and it is motivating to compare their attitudes about life and exercise.

I have had to restart my running (my exercise of choice) so many times and every time I HATE the first two weeks. Seriously. But then the third week I notice how much better it is than the first week, and so on.

Keep at it Danelle! It will pay off! (Sort of like going to college...)
