the start of a new month deserves a little more than just a written quote, so here is a link to a video, which i hope you will enjoy. it is titled "10 things i would like to say to a black woman" but i think the message can be applied to all women, all humans. the young poet's name is joshua bennett and he does a fantastic job, as you can tell by all the "mmm-hmmm"s from the ladies in the audience. i'm not going to download it, just hit this link and it will take you to the youtube version:
